CAREForce — a founding organization of the Chaplain Resource Network — has concluded independent operations. Its capabilities, mission, and legacy are now fully integrated within the Marsh Institute for Chaplains, powering a unified ecosystem built for chaplains worldwide.

Why this move matters for chaplains
Chaplaincy training, endorsement, and practice have long been fragmented — organizations operating in isolated silos, limiting shared learning and resource efficiency. CAREForce helped change that conversation.
As of 2026, CAREForce's work continues at a higher level: folded into the Marsh Institute for Chaplains, its capabilities now serve the entire Chaplain Resource Network ecosystem — reaching more chaplains, in more contexts, with greater coordination than was possible before.
This is not an ending. It is an integration — the kind of purposeful consolidation that strengthens every chaplain it serves.
Launched in April 2026, CRN is a centralized digital platform that aggregates, structures, and distributes resources from multiple independent chaplaincy-focused organizations — a federated ecosystem where every member keeps its identity while sharing a common infrastructure.
At launch, CRN already had 55 modules developed with more than 300 additional modules identified for continued build-out — training materials, case studies, spiritual care tools, crisis response guides, and clinical best practices.

The Marsh Institute for Chaplains exists to work collaboratively to equip, support, and advocate for chaplains serving in diverse and global settings. CRN is the operational engine that delivers on that promise — tools, curriculum, and support for the chaplains doing the work every day.

Chaplain Resource Network
CRN is the operational layer — a digital repository, content distribution network, and support infrastructure for chaplains and the organizations that serve them. Offerings include training modules, case studies, spiritual care tools, crisis response materials, and best-practice guidelines.
CRN works because it is fed by practice (CCN), grounded in community (HTF), and validated by education (CPEI). The loop allows the ecosystem to stay aligned, improve over time, and scale without losing effectiveness.

Clinical Pastoral Education International (CPEI)
Brings educational and clinical credibility to CRN. CPEI's mission is to provide quality, inclusive, and life-transforming clinical pastoral education internationally — developing competent pastoral clinicians and supervisory educators. Within the knowledge loop, CPEI contributes clinical rigor and pedagogical structure back into CRN's resource base.
Community Chaplain Network (CCN)
CCN's mission is to bring 24/7 care by trained chaplains directly to the local workplace. Dual-function as both a service delivery and CPE training organization, CCN ensures CRN resources are grounded in real field conditions — contributing operational tools, care protocols, and field validation back into the network.
Hope Thru Faith Foundation (HTF)
A faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on faith-driven outreach, charitable and community service, and spiritual encouragement. HTF anchors CRN in grassroots reality — receiving simplified, community-usable tools from the network while contributing community insight and ground-level needs back into the resource development cycle.
