Master Chaplain Ken Schlenker, M.Div. is a board-certified chaplain with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress in conjunction with the National Center for Crisis Management in Crisis Chaplaincy, Emergency Response and Traumatic Stress Management, He is listed in the International Speakers and Trainers Bureau and the Directory of Expert Witness. 

He is a Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisory Candidate I with Clinical Pastoral Education International where he also serves as an Advisory Board Member. 

Chaplain Ken is the Founder and Executive Director of RKM Crisis Team, dba CAREForce, a nonprofit 501(c)3 providing Crisis Training, Response, Organizational Development and coaching for community & first-responder organizations. 

Chaplain Schlenker serves as the National Corporate Chaplain for the PTSD Foundation of America whose mission is to bring hope and healing to Combat Veterans and their families suffering from the effects of combat-related Post Traumatic Stress. They do this by taking a whole-person approach, offering an evidence-based, interdisciplinary team approach including peer-to-peer mentoring, both on an individual basis and in group settings, behavioral health and chaplaincy. The programs and services are free to the Veteran and their family so that the focus remains on their journey to healing. Many issues such as PTSD, Moral Injury, Anger, Substance Abuse, Shame, Guilt, embarrassment is covered over a 6–9-month residency program

Chaplain Ken is the author of the Chaplain Degree Programs at Grace School of Theology, an ATS and TRACS accredited Seminary in The Woodlands, TX where he serves as an Associate Professor and Director of the Degree program he created.  GSOT teaches in 41 countries and in 8 languages.

Chaplain Schlenker holds the position of Master Chaplain with the International Conference of Police Chaplains (3400 chaplains) where he serves as the Assistant Regional Director for Region 7 (AR, KS, LA, MO, OK, and TX). 

Chaplain Schlenker graduated from Talbot School of Theology, BIOLA University with a M.Div. degree and from Southern Illinois University with a BA in Health Care Management. Ken served as a Corpsman (HM2) in the US Navy and has spent over 30 years in ministry--as a Care and Missions Pastor and Public Safety Chaplain providing crisis intervention services and training nationally. 

Chaplain Schlenker is the author of the California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Law Enforcement Chaplain Curriculum in 2011 which was created as part of the POST Master Instructor Instructional Development Institute (MICC3) Training Program.  He is a recognized national public speaker. Chaplain Ken serves as an advisory board member of the Marsh Center for Chaplain Studies, BH Carroll and was one of 37 contributing author spanning 914 years of Chaplain experience for, “The Heart of a Chaplain: Exploring Essentials for Ministry” (June 7, 2022). 

Chaplain Schlenker is an instructor with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, International Conference of Police Chaplains, California Specialized Training Institute, Center for Domestic Preparedness, Homeland Security Indirect Trainer, California Peace Officer Standards and Training, Resiliency Science Institute, Inc., Resilient Lives on the Front Line, LivingWorks, QPR, National Council of Behavioral Health Mental Health First Aid, radKIDS, FBI National Academy Comprehensive Officer Resiliency Training, Salvation Army National Disaster Training, and has presented at various national and international conferences such as the International Law Enforcement Education and Training Association (ILEETA). 

Ken has been a guest speaker featured on radio and podcast such as KKLA on the Frank Pastore Show, KSDW and KWVE in Southern California and Grace Cafe Podcast in Texas.  He has also been featured on HeroTalk Podcast with his friend and mentor Rodger Ruge. Chaplain Schlenker has also been a recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award by President George Bush. 

Chaplain Ken resides with a multi-generational household consisting of his bride of 42 years, his son, daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and has three dogs (Corgi, Labrador and Doberman).
